The Ecocase is crafted in India with materials and manufacturing sourced from across the world, majorly, from India, China, and some parts of Europe.
Yes, being made from organic materials, the light colour cases are more prone to stains. If you are looking for ways to clean your Ecocase, you can use isopropyl alcohol for adamant stains, while a small drop or spray of sanitizer or hand wash with gentle hand rubbing should do the work for day-to-day stains. Please do not use some kind of brush or excessive rubbing, as it might erode the case.

Yes, our material is 100% biodegradable and compostable, as per the US (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting, and 100% organic as per RoHS compliance. Thus, it’s not just compostable, it is Earth-compostable, i.e., it will decompose in the backyard within 2-3 years (there might be some variation to this estimate due to various soil and weather conditions).
It highly depends on the compost parameters, but the best range as per our tests can range from 6 months to 2 years. Which is a huge leap against traditional plastics which would take hundreds if not thousands of years to break down into microplastics!!!

The Ecocase is being tested for Drop protection and is well-engineered to use soft air cushions on the edges to enhance the protection. Yes, it is organic but it wouldn’t break down during regular use. Although, you might see the texture slowly turning a little grainy from soft after 2-3 years of regular use.
The Ecocases are designed to add zero to negligible bulk, and simultaneously, withstand drops and daily wear and tear. The approx thickness would be 2mm, which is compliant with Apple wireless charging guidelines.
Ecocase is a durable, shock-absorbing case with air pockets to enhance the protection of the edges.
We have done multiple tests, including the 6-feet drop test, and can assure you it holds a military-grade rating against drop protection.
